What do we like?

Cristina is one of those people who makes an impression when she crosses your path. We’ve known each other for many years, across different stages of life and scenarios. We’ve always understood each other, in part because she makes it so easy. Our paths deviated for a while, although we stayed in touch and crossed paths again professionally a few years ago.

Since then, we’ve been sharing this exciting project and many hours in the office. We have the same values and the same desire to enjoy the little things. The same love of detail, as well as silly jokes, because you’ve got to work with a smile.  I think our clients and vendors can sense the great atmosphere we enjoy at Éditra.

She’s easy to talk to, honest, and frank, both professionally and personally. There is not one bit of hot air in her words. I admire her intractability and healthy strong-mindedness that inevitably lead her to achieve whatever she sets out to do, be it reach a sales goal or climb a particularly challenging rock wall. Her joyful, extroverted personality lends itself perfectly to being a professional who never forgets to request client feedback, congratulate them for their achievements, or get an invite to interesting trade shows. I’m lucky to be able to share my work, time, and concerns with a person who always has something to contribute. That's just who we are. We are Éditra.

Since it’s hard to talk about oneself, I’m going to tell you about my business partner Silvia.

We met many years ago, but at the time we were working in different departments. I could tell that Silvia was great at her job. She is hard-working, committed, a great communicator, and a problem-solver. At that point, I still hadn’t gotten to know her as person outside of the office. Years later, the world of translation brought us back together and we created our own project: Éditra. We based the company on the values of service and problem-solving, while always adding our own personal touch. We now spend a lot of time together sharing ideas and hard work, in addition to a lot of laughter. I’ve come to learn that she is a person with extraordinary values, who is hard-working and incredibly generous, often putting her own interests aside to get someone to smile. We click perfectly, despite being quite different and that is because she knows how to listen and empathize. She always knows the right way to put something and is great at solving problems. Her favourite word is: SIMPLIFY, although she isn’t above using a bawdy phrase to get a laugh.

We make a great team and that certainly shines through in our day to day and in our work. To infinity and beyond!
